About This Site
Elm Fork Foundation Repair runs this website, which generates leads and makes referrals. We connect homeowners in and around Denton, Texas with a foundation repair company that works in their area. We don't do repairs. Any work is done by that company.
Using This Website
These terms apply from the moment you browse a page, book an inspection or send a form. Anyone unwilling to accept them should stop using the site.
Please use the site lawfully, for real questions about a foundation. Give true contact details. Forms are for people to complete by hand; automated submissions aren't allowed. Keep what you send to foundation repair.
What "Free Inspection" Means
The phrase covers the first visit, and only that. You don't pay for it, and it doesn't tie you to buying a repair. It doesn't tie the company to a price either. Any repair is agreed on its own, between you and the company that would do it.
Information Only
The guides, town pages and the rest of this site are general information. None of it is engineering, legal or insurance advice. None of it takes the place of a qualified person who looks at your home.
Permit rules, fees, watering rules and state rules can change. Check with the office that sets a rule before you rely on it.
No Guarantees
A figure on this site may not fit your home. Our figures come from public sources. These include the USDA soil survey, the USGS geologic map, the US Census, FEMA flood maps and town records. Each figure says where it comes from.
We don't promise how soon anyone will contact you. We also don't promise what a repair will cost or how it will turn out. In some parts of our area, no company may be free to help.
Our Liability
When your request has been passed on, our part is done. To the fullest extent Texas law permits, we bear no liability for indirect, incidental or consequential damages that come from using this site. That limit also covers work done by any company we refer you to.
Independent Companies
Each foundation repair company you reach through this site is its own business. It isn't our employee or our agent. Its work, its prices and its credentials are its own responsibility. We don't.
Before you agree to a job, ask for proof of insurance. Ask how an engineer will take part in the repair plan, too.
When These Terms Change
These terms can be revised from time to time. The current version is the one with the date at the top. Carrying on with the site after a revision counts as accepting it.
Texas Law Applies
Texas law governs these terms. Its conflict of law rules don't change that.
